Join Us At The White Sands Balloon Invitational
Date: September 17-18, 2011
Event Description: The 20th Annual White Sands Balloon Invitational is scheduled for September 17-18, 2011. We kick off the event with a Friday (September 16th) evening reception at the Willie Estrada Civic Center for the pilots, sponsors, and crew members.
Fast forward to the balloon event, half of the balloons will launch from White Sands Monument and half will launch from our brand new Alamogordo Balloon Field (off Levelle Road) at 7:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
Weather permitting, we have a balloon glow or fire dance on Saturday evening (September 17th) at the Balloon Field.
Admission for the Balloon Field is free. Normal park fees apply for admission to White Sands National Monument.
